Hengda Kafuter K-5598 General Purpose Transparent Silicone Sealant

Features:

1.One-part, neutral, room cure RTV silicone rubber sealant

2.Thixotropic, no corrosion, great adhesion to aluminium,copper, and stainless steel, etc.

3.High temp and impact tolerant,solvent resistant, low shrinkage, and no collapse, etc.

4. Can seal the mechanical parts instead of different kinds of cushions, pads, or gaskets, etc.

  5. can seal big gap between 0~ 6mm.

Applications:

It can replace the rubber pad/cushion, asbestos pads, cork pads, and gasket by sealing and bonding the mechanical parts in cars or automobiles, such as, engines, gear cases, and axles,etc.

The advantage is sealing the surfaces or partswithout any limitation.

Technical Properties:

Directions:

(1) Clean the surfaces by cloth or organic solvents.

(2) Apply a continuous bead or 360° bead on the flange sealed surfaces,and then tighten the screw and assemble it.

(3)After cured, it can form a elastomer gasket and put into use

(4) can use as gasket sealing in less than 6mm flange gap.

ATTENTION:

Put the surfaces in air to make it get full cure. The curing progress is from outer surface into inner surface. The elastomer can get cure with the depth of 2~4mm in 24 hours (at room temperature, 55% moisture), if the sections is too deep (especially the parts not easy to contact with air) or the temperature is too low, the cure time will be extend.

Advise users preparing enough time to let elastomer get full cure in order to stable its properties before the next disposing or packaging.
